Currently, MADISEN is working on her album full of fun dance beats. She is under the artistic direction of Jonathan George of JG Entertainment. Her first single “Crazy Crazy”, she co-wrote with Jonathan and DW. She jokes, “It allows me to show off my 7 years of dance training. I also want to produce beats that people want to get up and dance to and have fun.” You will be hearing a lot of new tracks from her over the next few months.
When asked “What was your starting point?”. MADISEN says “After I saw HSM 1, I knew I had to be doing this.” Laughing, she continues, “ It made me so mad that I wasn’t in the movie. I told my mom we had to make this happen for me.” After all, she had been training for this since she was 8 yrs old.
As a dancer, MADISEN began training at age 8 and soon began competing in dance competitions with her competition dance team as well as solos, which she won many first place ribbons. Before moving to LA, she served as dance captain for her high school dance team, “Silver Stars”. MADISEN feels, “This has trained me to be competitive and strive to be number one. It has given me the tools to keep my head on straight and not go crazy. It’s also given me the discipline to work hard and not give up.”
MADISEN also begins unveiling more of her history. “There is very little opportunity to get out and perform so I decided to compete in pageants. I know there is a big stigma about pageants but it has really helped me get where I am now. It also gave me opportunities that I never had before. It is what helped me get to LA.” Currently, MADISEN holds the Miss Missouri Jr. Teen title. In November ‘08 she competed in the National Pageant in Anaheim,CA where she placed 2nd runner up overall out of 50 states and captured the National Most Promising Model title.
