Lady Phoenix
With Platinum Record status already attached to their names, Melissa Schuman, Ashley Poole, and Diana Ortiz are no newcomers to the music scene. To date, their former band Dream's album, It Was All a Dream (Bad Boy/Arista), has sold 1.8 million copies and earned them the status of bona fide pop teen icons.
Now in their early twenties, three of the former Dream members have yet another chance to shape their own image as they rise up out of highly successful ashes to reunite as Lady Phoenix.
With maturity, fresh attitude and depth in tow, Melissa, Ashley, and Diana are in the studio with Jonathan George bringing back the 40’s and 50’s Big Band era for the younger generation and incorporating their pop/r&b roots into their upcoming debut album. This soulful new musical direction and lifestyle has been in their hearts for years as they hold true to “real” music without age barriers. Lady Phoenix's first single "Bang Bang" will be up on itunes in April. Bang Bang was written by Jonathan George, Jami Templeton, and PK; produced by Jonathan George, PK, and Anthony Mazza.

Only 14 years old, Rylie Brown is making huge waves in the music scene. You may remember her from Miley Cyrus’ “Are You a Super Star” contest where she placed 6th out of over 30,000 entries. This worldwide singing contest landed her a seat next to Miley in the concert video for Mileyworld. Rylie says, “I have grown up with Miley as my idol and to be next to her as a finalist in her contest was the highlight of my career.” Most recentely Rylie made it to the Final 19 out of over 40,000 kids for the new show Majors and Minors.
Rylie found the love for singing and performing at 4 years old while traveling the state with her mother who was Mrs. Missouri America 2001. Mrs. Brown recalled, ”One day Rylie was intrigued by the microphone I would use to speak and asked if she could talk. I asked her to sing a song for everyone instead so Rylie chose to sing BINGO and was an instant hit. I watched her eyes light up after the audience started to applaud and something clicked inside her that day. From that day forward she sang at every one of my appearances.”
Being raised in Lee’s Summit, MO, there are very few outlets for performance opportunities. With love for the stage, she decided to follow in the footsteps of her mom and entered the Miss Missouri Coed pageant in 2005. She won People’s Choice as well as the Talent portion of the contest. She caught the eye of emcee Doug Gabriel who invited Rylie to sing on his show at the Jim Stafford Theatre in Branson Missouri.
